Dreamy!
What happens when a petty book-store owner spills coffee over a famous Hollywood star's dress? A tiff? Neh! A love-story! Such unexpected is the plot development in the film. It is realistic, not over-the-top as we can expect from a rom-com! It is beautiful, and touching. How to people, from different backgrounds with different lifestyle can come close-it is their respective loneliness that draws them towards each other. Anna Scott(Roberts) is ethereal and far from the reach of common men. Yet she develops a liking for the good-looking and honest Will Thacker(Grant). She steps out of her zone and socializes with his eccentric yet, good at heart group of friends and his sister. The simple being within Anna yearns to step out of the star-status.
Both Grant and Roberts are brilliant in their respective roles. The screenplay isn't too mushy and the ending is realized beautifully. There has been generous use of humor which is intelligently absorbed within the storyline. Music by Trevor Jones and several other artists is one of the key features of this film which is worth a mention.

Thrilling,but a tad long!
Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can is a film based on the real-life incident of teenage con,Frank Abagnale. Leonardo Di Caprio, ina a totally convincing manner, pulls off the role of Frank, the fraudster. As a teenager,Frank has seen his parents get divorced and his mother continue an affair behind his father's back. Frank had also seen his father being crushed under the burden of expenses and tax returns. Frank thus nurtured the neurotic obsession for gaining money by deceitful means and turned into a fraudster after fleeing from home post his parents divorce. He posed as a Pilot, a doctor and lawyer and forged cheks to make illegal cash. Carl Hanratty(Tom Hanks) is the cat in this cat and mouse chasing game, who is an FBI bank fraud agent. Despite lacking the support of the higher authority,Carl continues his job until he tracks Frank down. But in this game of chase, the cat brings a twist in the tale.
Di Caprio and Tom Hanks are brilliant in their respective roles and the movie bears the stamp of being a Spielberg movie in shots, dialogue and climax sequences. Just that the movie is a bit too long which makes the pace stagger.

Great! Toothless is more than adorable.
While the previous film was more about the development of friendship between Hiccup and Toothless, this sequel goes as far as making Hiccup the new chief of the clan! While the previous plot was more breezy, this one dares to take the plunge into the deep where Hiccup is presented to a grim world, where many mysteries unravel and many tragedies unfurl.
It begins with Hiccup bonding with Astrid over their dragons and we see sparks flying. They explore places, meet enemies, challenge them and in this process,Hiccup finds his mother. In the midst of the happy reunion, danger strikes and then we see a fantastic battle of men aided by dragons!
Emotionally engaging and with convincing storytelling, the sequel wows us much more than the original. The animations are praiseworthy and the film's progression is riveting. The background score takes the film a few notches higher. Watch it,and you'll want to own a fire-spitting dragon!
