Thrilling,but a tad long!

Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can is a film based on the real-life incident of teenage con,Frank Abagnale. Leonardo Di Caprio, ina a totally convincing manner, pulls off the role of Frank, the fraudster. As a teenager,Frank has seen his parents get divorced and his mother continue an affair behind his father's back. Frank had also seen his father being crushed under the burden of expenses and tax returns. Frank thus nurtured the neurotic obsession for gaining money by deceitful means and turned into a fraudster after fleeing from home post his parents divorce. He posed as a Pilot, a doctor and lawyer and forged cheks to make illegal cash. Carl Hanratty(Tom Hanks) is the cat in this cat and mouse chasing game, who is an FBI bank fraud agent. Despite lacking the support of the higher authority,Carl continues his job until he tracks Frank down. But in this game of chase, the cat brings a twist in the tale.

Di Caprio and Tom Hanks are brilliant in their respective roles and the movie bears the stamp of being a Spielberg movie in shots, dialogue and climax sequences. Just that the movie is a bit too long which makes the pace stagger.
