Aneesha Ranjan reviewed Room
Room is an extremely simple yet beautiful movie telling us a touching story. It is a story of young woman held captive and raped for 7 years. During this time she gives birth to a boy. Its amazing to see how she brings him up and makes him believe that a small room is whole world. All in all it's a beautiful story of mother and child relationship of how mother teaches her son to survive. Wonderful acting by Brie and her baby boy. Other characters also seem convincing in their role. Must watch!

I guess my hashtags says it all! First on the movie side...its a well researched story with amazing direction. Akshay Kumar is brilliant in the role. Nimrat Kaur extremely convicing as a trophy wife of rich businessman whom she loves a lot. Other characters are also well thought off and very well carved out of writers imagination. Songs are good. Patriotic to the core, this movie is a must watch!

For me the movie was all about beautiful and lavish sets and costumes. Music is also soothing and good. However, overall the story was depressing, ending on a sad note. Wonder why would you choose one for bollywood mainstream cinema. Deepika looked pretty in her costumes. Ranveer as usual was pathetic. Both Ranveer and Deepika were not convincing in their roles. The best actor in the movie was Priyanka Chopra. I wish she could have got more screen space. All in all okayish movie

Give it a miss
Being a diehard SRK and DDLJ fan, I expected a mature lovestory. However, it turned out to be a dissapointing bogus story of random characters put together to create a dry humoured movie:( SRK you broke my heart big time:(:(

It's a timepass movie with the same old concept of people meeting, parting and finally a happy reunion. But what is inspiring is the background concept of how one can only excel if they love their work. The locations are beautiful and amazingly shot. Ranbir and Deepika are very convincing in their roles. One time watch. Also a must watch for this gen parents!
