The storyline is interesting which starts as romance and ends up like a thriller. I liked the beautiful scenery of the villages. The music was good.

I am interested in seeing the original movie in Malayalam for comparison.

A gritty drama with action in between
The storyline was decent though too gritty later on. I wish the kid was just kidnapped and later rescued. The beginning of the movie was realistic but I wish they had some other scene instead of perpetuating a fear of dogs. The story could have done with more finesse. I liked the realistic houses they stayed in instead of fake sets.

A typical masala movie. VIjay's dancing is great. I just wish the scenes were shot in real life instead of using CGI backgrounds for most cases.

A sweet romantic and funny drama. I wish the wife had given a chance to her husband to explain before getting upset.

Watchable with a standard trope
This was a standard trope of 2 best friends falling in love. Dhanush seemed to be moonlighting in his previous acting skills whereas the other characters had better characterization and acting especially Nitya Menon

Good, villain characterization would have made the movie even better.
The movie with its 2 parallel stories was engaging. However, the second half including the villains became caricatures after a point of time.

I did not get why the mothers were killed or kept preserved in liquid nitrogen instead of being sent out into the world. Why weren't so many women reported missing if they never got out of the facility. Preserving so many bodies and foetuses requires a tremendous amount of liquid nitrogen.

The women need not have been kept in a prison like facility and been sent back out into the world believing that their child was adopted. That would have been less problematic.

I am not sure why the main female villain did not use contraceptives even if her husband refused to.

Samantha looks too made up in all scenes involving fighting and in the facility which would not be typical for a person from her economic background.

The wildlife cinematography is beautiful. It was great to see a close up of the elephants. It was interesting to explore the tribal people taking care of the forest and the elephants.
