      Transformers Animated is an Japanese/American animated television series based on the Transformers toy line. The series debuted on Cartoon Network on December 26, 2007, and has been shown on NickToons in the UK since February 2008. It is produced by Cartoon Network Studios and animated by The Answer Studio, MOOK DLE., and Studio 4°C . The series has 42 episodes across three seasons. The European Jetix began to air the series on September 10, 2008. The series began its broadcast in Japan on April 3, 2010, on both TV Aichi and TV Tokyo. The Japanese version of the cartoon was slightly rewritten to tie into Michael Bay's Transformers trilogy. The show's continuity is separate from any other previous Transformers series, despite using footage from the first series in its first episode as a historical film. Despite being a Cartoon Network original series, the show was aired on Nicktoons in the UK, Jetix/Disney XD in the rest of Europe and finally, back in the states on The Hub in high definition.

Meanwhile, the others track down any remaining Decepticons and run into Lugnut.

      It turns out that Soundwave has trapped the Autobots in a virtual reality intending to brainwashing them to his way of thinking. Now, Sari must free them before Soundwave completely turns them into Decepticons. She ends up gaining unlikely allies in Snarl, Scrapper, and Wreck-Gar.

      The Space Bridge on Earth is finished. Meanwhile, the Elite Guard ship holding most of the Decepticon prisoners heads straight into an ominous space storm. The space storm reactivates Swindle who frees the Decepticon prisoners and takes over the ship. Optimus Prime identifies the "Broken Lance" code from Sentinel Prime and uses the Space Bridge to transwarp to the ship.

      Ratchet activates Bulkhead's Space Bridge, which ends up sucking Captain Fanzone into it with Ratchet following him. They both end up on Cybertron around the time Sentinel Prime has declared a lockdown. Omega Supreme has arrived on Cybertron with Megatron, Starscream's head, and Lugnut. Thus, Shockwave (still possessing Ultra Magnus' hammer) attempts to get Omega Supreme's access codes from Arcee herself instead of Ratchet to reprogram Omega Supreme.       The Autobots discover Arcee's energy signal on the Moon. Rachet insists on going there right away to save her, but Prime refuses, knowing that they are too weak to fight Megatron.
