The real-life soap returns for its 16th series, beginning by following the Towie gang on another Spanish jaunt for a final summer slice of partying, sun, sea and drama in Marbella. Which relationships will still be going strong, who will hook up on this holiday, and what beachwear will Bobby be sporting this time?

The gang's Marbella escapades continue and, while Lewis gets body beautiful in Essex, the boys spot a beauty of their own in Spain - Lewis' ex-girlfriend Nicole.

Ferne and Chloe Lewis clash again, but Ferne's day brightens when she bumps into Liam. With Nicole now back in town, Lewis takes his chance to catch up with her.

Tensions come to a head between Lewis and Mike, Jake confronts Mike about his recent remarks and Danni extracts a confession out of Nicole.

Arg and Lydia are in turmoil yet again thanks to his lies, Dan and Kate talk over their broken relationship and Lewis continues to make a play for Nicole.

Arg is forced to deal with Lydia's rejection as she goes on a night out in a bid to forget him. Dan enlists Diags and Lockie as he sets about surprising Kate.

As he finally comes face-to-face with Lydia, will Arg's apologies and excuses fall on deaf ears, and could Danni and Lockie's flirting lead to a reunion?
