It aired between 1998 and 2000. It was filmed in Newhall, California. The pilot, scripted by Chris Black and Frank Q. Dobbs, was filmed in Mescal, Arizona and the Dragoon Mountains of Arizona, near Tombstone. Robert Vaughn, who had starred in the original 1960 movie, frequently guest-starred as a crusading judge.

Chris follows to free Vin after Vin is give to outlaw Eli Joe, the very man who framed Vin for the killing. The Seven ride to catch Eli. Meanwhile, Ezra is shocked to learn his mother is opening a hotel across the street from his newly-purchased saloon. Buck is surprised when a local girl informs him he's the father of her child-to-be.

Chris, Vin, Buck, and Ezra ride to rescue Charlotte after she's kidnapped and held ransom. Buck and Ezra try to win a widow's hand by charming her pudgy young son.

05 Mar '99Nathan's father, Obadiah, is brought to town to stand trial for the murder of his former owner. The Seven are assigned the task of protecting Obadiah from the raging mob crying for vengeance. Ezra's mother is arrested for stealing a set of cufflinks. She claims Preston Wingo, the owner of said cufflinks, planted them in her satchel to try to get her to accept his offer of marriage.
