In Egypt, a new purple pyramid mysteriously rises from the desert. A recently launched space shuttle carrying astronauts and civilians (including Jessica, Jeff and Billy) is highjacked by the aptly-named villain Steeljaw. He takes the shuttle to his moon-base where he intends to use his kidnapped victims to dig for valuable moon gems. It falls to Spider-Woman to stop his evil plans.

After Dracula is released from his tomb in Transylvania, he decrees that all mortals will pay for his imprisonment. He brings the Wolfman and Frankenstein's Monster back to life and gives them powers with the ability to turn normal humans into monsters. Only Spider-Woman can stop the monsters and defeat Dracula before everyone becomes as horrific as them.

The Drew Laboratories are infiltrated by a bionic midget(!), who attempts to steal Dr. Alexander Drew's secret research journal. Spider-Woman shows up and stops him getting away with the book. In the Arctic, the army retrieves a frozen spaceship, containing an alien. The alien is accidentally awoken by the soldiers, and introduces herself as Mumara. She instantly sets about to place everyone in the world into a deep sleep so that she can be sustained by their dreams. Luckily for Jessica, her spider-powers make her immune to Mumara sleep-inducing rays. However, in order to save everyone, Jessica becomes Spider-Woman and is left to enter the dream world to stop Mumara once and for all.
