Creepy, terrifying and brilliant - a True Horror Masterpiece
The Omen is a seminal horror film that is a must watch just for the premise itself. The story revolves around a young mother who loses her child in childbirth and without her knowledge her baby is replaced with another young boy who they name as Damien. The catch here is that the boy called Damien is actually the son of Satan. Whoever becomes aware of his true identity gets gruesomely killed in various accidents that all seem natural.
The Omen is like a precursor to many modern horror flicks like Final Destination series because this was the movie that introduced the concept of a series of seemingly harmless events leading to a gory death. The scenes of death are a true macabre spectacle... |
