Santa Clarita Diet is about a happy, suburban couple who experience a major lifestyle change when the wife (played by Drew Barrymore) begins to acquire a taste for human flesh. The story is more of a comparison of the family 'before' and 'after' Barrymore turns into a zombie who can't keep her cravings to herself. While the show may seem a bit overacted and exaggerated at some points, it's dark comedy is definitely entertaining. The cast member's efforts make up for any non-nonsensical scenes. Drew Barrymore is her usual brilliant self which is just another reason to watch. |
