Sadako (Japanese: 貞子) is a 2019 supernatural horror film directed by Hideo Nakata, loosely based on the novel Tide by Koji Suzuki and the final installment in the The Ring film series. The film premiered in Japan on March 24, 2019, and it played on the opening night of the 2019 Fantasia International Film Festival. A tie-in manga series, Sadako-san and Sadako-chan, was published from February 2019.
