Whereas in DDLJ NRI's are viewed mostly positively, in Pardes they are filled with vice and mostly evil. And we're supposed to view as good family values the heroine's offer to her father to kill herself with poison for besmirching the family honor when she returns home after an attempted rape? Um, no.
SRK was very good as Arjun, though. |
