Many would say that John Carter heavily borrows from other superheros such as the Superman. But the fact is that John Carter is based on the popular series by Edgar Rice Burroughs titled John Carter of Mars. In fact all other superhero comics actually drew inspiration from John Carter. Coming back to the movie, it's a decent flick with some gripping action. It's one of those cult movies which you'd either fall in love with or dislike outright. |
