Dandakaranyam Plot
Koteshwar (R. Narayana Murthy) who becomes a People’s War Party member, and advocates for the betterment of the lives of the Dalits and the adivasis or the tribal people living in the Dandakaranyam forest belt near Sri Kakulam, Odisha, Bengal, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. He soon becomes their leader, and is fondly called Kottanna. Kottanna now starts to become a threat to the industrialists and politicians who want to mine for bauxite, iron ore and other minerals in the forests to export into the international market. The war between the government officials and the communists is what forms the entire movie.
