You wouldn't believe this series was made in 2015 considering some of the sexist comments made by the love interests and women themselves. Knightly even says to Lizzie at some point that her outfit is "asking for attention" Yikes... This show could have spent more time building up storyline, friendships and romantic relationships, etc instead it spends episodes wasting time of characters building exercise bikes, Marianne getting/losing jobs, and a mouse being trapped in an apartment. Those elements might be ok if they were side plots but instead they take center stage and only a few minutes are devoted to further what should be main stories. |
