Summer Vacation 1999 1988

Summer Vacation tells the story of four teenage students who spend their summer vacation at school – unsupervised and untouched by the outside world. As the story begins, Yu has decided to take his own life – he is in love with the exquisitely beautiful Kazuhike, who is also loved by another of the boys, Naeto. Kazuhike ignores Yu’s love letters and the depressed Yu decides to jump from a cliff into a tranquil lake at the school’s edge. Just as the shock of the suicide begins to subside, in walks a new student who looks and sounds exactly like the dead boy, Yu.
