This revenge drama is mildly engaging. It was definitely meant to be a thorough #masala action which targeted the masses. But, Urumeen does not manage to stick along. It is yet another movie.
Bobby Simha's comic avatar has been shed and he dons on the action suit. Moreover, the numerous flash-backs in the movie is indeed annoying.
But despite these fall-backs, certain aspects can be appreciated. First, the Director's conviction to roll out a movie. This being the director's first movie just manages to absolve him from the brick-bats.
Music Director Achu has also managed to deliver some #feelGood sound-tracks. Hey Umayaal is indeed an #awesome song.
