The Half of It Review

I didn't have very high expectations for this film going in because Netflix has nearly always failed with their teen films however I was very pleasantly surprised and in my opinion the half of it might be Netflix's best teen film to date, The main character Ellie is so relatable and easy to root for and Leah Lewis is utterly charming in the role, The film has many emotional scenes that actually work and make you feel for the characters and the comedy works really well for the most part to even thought not every joke lands , The half of it is just a super charming and genuinely heart-warming film that Netflix and Alice Wu should be very proud of.
