The Devil All the Time (2020)

7/10. I enjoyed this ride of 'THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME' but didn't love it, and cant settle my mind on on things. One of the problems i had with it is the pacing, I felt like one time it wanted to be a thriller and the next a mystery. But then I started to like it, because of how it matches with the individual story lines that meet together in the film. What I am trying to say is that, the pacing felt so jarring in one moment, and the next I kinda liked it?. I really don't know how to feel about this. I was sooo ready to call this trash but ended up liking it.... till the 1 hour mark where everything just kind of stops, I didn't really feel anything but boredom, this easily could be explained by my horrible attention span but, u felt like almost half of the move was just unneeded. I feel like this is a movie that you have to go into with a massive grain of salt and respect. The performances from Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson were really good, and are what hold this thing together. A little bit of the score was pretty interesting too. Other than that i just felt like it was a fun, okay movie a. I was about to give this a 4.5 btw.
