The Danish Girl Review

One of Eddie Redmayne's best movies, The Danish Girl explores the theme of sexuality. Gerda Wegener asks her husband Einar to pose as a female model for a painting that created complications after that. The movie shows one's struggle of being born in a certain way but wanting to be something different. Einar’s suppressed nature comes out and we as audience get to see its every aspect. Einar and Gerda go through a difficult time trying to hold their marriage. Gerda finds it difficult when Einar tells him that he wants to go through Sex reassignment surgery (male-to-female) but none the less still supports him. Overall the movie is one of the best dramas I have ever come across. Based on a true story it is a movie which is a must watch.
