Ram Gopal Verma is back with his movies based on real incidents. This movie will go down the wire as the attempt to depict the whole scenario of forgetful attacks on Mumbai in 2008. Although, the director succeeds in showing the plot clearly, one must say that it could have been done better.
Nana Patekar, depicted as the Polic Commissioner of Mumbai narrates the plot to higher authorities looks helpless but firm, sad, fearless who just ponders over the three day operation on India's commercial capital. It films the sequence of attacks took place at Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel and CST but doesn't clearly portray the execution of the plans of the terrorists.
Ajmal Kasab, the lone alive terrorist in the Indian Police Custody is played by Sanjeev Jaiswal, who does the job decently. What this movie speaks out is that the unpreparedness of Indian Forces for such an attack. The blasts, firing, weapons, killing innocent people all have been shown in an epic way and prints an image of all the scenes occurred during the attacks in one's mind.
The proper handling of Kasab by Indian Police also make us feel a bit for Indian Police who after innumerable successes and courageous acts are blamed when such things take place. another aspect of the movie witnesses a sound message given to the nation about the terrorists not belonging to any religion and one must not judge them by their religion and the misinterpretation of some of the religious beliefs.
A must watch for a Mumbaikar!
