it's dark it's real a must-watch
[contains spoilers]

Vikram Bhatt's spotlight talks about the dark side of the industry. It is somewhat like the Indian version of "13 reasons why " only that it doesn't have a Hannah Baker but has a Sana Sanyal who gets shot while shooting for a film, Romesh yet another popular name in the industry who has been scandalized into an illicit relationship with Sana; was taken aback when he heard that she was assassinated. Hereby the story continues when his lawyer gives access to some of her audio files where she talks about her struggle in her life that could be used against her for admitting her affair with the actor Romesh. As Romesh goes through the audio files more and more he falls in love with Sana, The entire story revolves around Sana and her struggle from Sana To the Star Sana Sanyal.

The story focuses on the dark end of the industry which is even darker for a woman with no support or known faces in the industry. Luck at some point was on her side that she could escape each and every problems in her life . As she lies in the hospital bed for days, Romesh listens to each and every audio files and his lawyer and wife thinks of ways to penalize her in front of the media and that's how the entire story proceeds.

Talking of the direction, it is Vikram Bhatt so no comments on that, it is how it should be; while script i felt fell short of thrills, the ending could have been a little dramatic as the pace suddenly drops down in the end but never the less it ends on a twisted note.

Overall i feel it is a good show and a must watch, it is just not a show but it teaches a lot of bitter truth of life; people stay around when you are not successful but once you are you feel the loneliness resides in you, you will miss some genuine people in your life. But that's how life is and that's how it is pictured by Vikram Bhatt through his series spotlight.
