Shivaay Review

Shivaay-A yawn fest....Yes u heard it right...Don't judge it by the thrilling promos....

From the very first scene there are logic defying scenes...Ajay Devgn is not Shivaay,instead he is a superhero...Someone calls him and he simply leaps from the Himalayas with his swagger vault....He flies in the air....The song 'Bolo Har Har' manages to impress during those scenes but then it's repeatedly played during every action scene which is irritating....Ajay Devgn is super stylish and his performance is bang on...Erika Kaar has little to do(except the gravity defying steamy scenes)....Abigail Eames is cute and acts well,though she's not excellent..Dialogues aren't hard hitting,rather some of them are unintentionally hilarious(Example- 'Main itna bhi nhi kr sakti apne iklautey baap k liye?')

The action sequences are well choreographed thanks to the VFX team,but then they become monotonous...Never ending chase sequences and overstretched melodrama helped the film to achieve the tag of 'Boredom'....

Breathtaking visuals of Bulgaria and Himalayas with ample action aren't the only elements to make a good film...It can't be called a thriller due to its 172 minutes runtime....The main fault is with the characters-they lack any depth...Some parts were interesting enough to keep u hooked but then again predictability killed it...U don't feel for the characters despite the movie being an emotional one.....Sayyesha is beautiful and okay...Vir Das has the swag but he is offered limited screen space...

Note:- Watch it only if u are a die hard fan of either Ajay Devgn or action movies...

Warning:- Ths Diwali there'll b boredom...So don't watch it unless you have already watched 'ADHM'...
