Sacred Games Review

Right from the amazing screenplay to the well crafted dialogues, from the beautiful edgy script to the excellent cast and its wonderful acting, there appears a dearth of adjectives that could aptly justify this brilliantly composed and directed magnum opus based on Vikram Chandra's acclaimed work by the same name. From 'sweet' Katekar (whose death makes you gasping for breath) to his badass wife, from the strong Anjali, the beautiful Kukoo, the infallible gangster Gaitonde to the ethical cop, Sartaj, this show gives you characters that are bound to stick with you for a long time to come. The titles of the episodes and the title song are beautifully composed. The minuscule details are just amazing. The show leaves you with some questions, wondering if hate is perhaps the only secular emotion.
