Pacific Rim Review

I am a Sci fi fan, no doubt. But if you can cause an unrest in me then you've done a great job. I haven't seen anything like that ever. Machines of such mass and size. I want to give a tight hug to the director, Guillermo del Toro.

Story so thrilling that it can pull you out of your seat. Mammoth aliens, kaijus are trying to put an end of Earth. But the marshal(Idris Elba), even after getting a no from every country's government decides to fight a lone battle. Then our hero arrives, Raleigh(Charlie Hunnam). And when hero comes no villain can persist.

The movie is a perfect package : sci-fi, love story, emotions, action, adventure, patriotism, and everything you look for in such movies.

Its a high budget movie and costs $190,000,000 (estimated). Its graphics and VFX were out of the world.

Screenplay, music, script, characterization, all awesome. Dialogues could have been better. But keeping in mind its a sci fi thriller, makers can be forgiven for that.

Charlie Hunnam did a great job as Raleigh. Idris Elba was a masterpiece. Rinko Kikuchi as Mako looked stunning. Charlie Day and Burn Gorma's comic timings were upto the mark. For actiong i'll give a 4.5.

Overall a nice package. Must watch.
