Mustang Review

Mustang is a Turkish drama movie. It is about the lives of 5 orphaned sisters who live with their grandmother and uncle in a conservative society. The movie shows how one innocent and happy moment changes the lives of all the sisters. Living in a patriarchal society makes it difficult for them to just have fun with their fellow schoolmates. As the rumors about their dignity flows around, their angry uncle puts them under house arrest, takes away their phones and make up, forces them to take virginity tests and force-feed them a crash course on being a good housewife. Eventually, marrying them off one by one. But the youngest sister resists when her 4th sister was going to get married and escapes from the village.
