Start - great rhythm, really good start to the movie, well executed, awesome acting and plot to begin.

Great delema the theif is destined to fail from the beginning.

It seems like what most people are saying an art show, but not of works but more of life itself and how it diminishes our flesh but we become wiser as we become older.

It's interesting that really it was a prison for Defoe but because he adapted to his surrounding he didn't think of it as a prison.
I found his statement at the end, "thank you for your hospitality" and "sorry for destroying it, maybe it should have been destroyed", explaines like he sais the reality of humanity where we need to destroy everything and at the end of all that destruction we call it art.

The fact that Dufoe goes into dream states is the explanation on how he keeps himself occupied rather than go crazy keeping his sanity, even though due to his dilemma we assume he is going crazy though he keeps focus on how to escape his so called prison.
Yes there is various plot holes, no explanation for various things though the movie no matter how lame, boring, grossed out or artsy it does keep you gripped by the balls and demands to be watched, even after you see disgusting stuff, gut churning situations? Yes just admit it you may have waited 105 minutes of your life but you were entertained!!!! And that's exactly what the dire tor wanted..........

William Dufoe is so versatile as an actor he shines again and again he does not need a single soul to back him. He brings it again and again!!!!!!! Just on his acting I'd hmgive it 5 straight starts........
