Girl in the city is narrated from the point of view of lead character Meera (Mithali palkar) , mostly exuberant, came from a small town of Dehradun to the city of dreams Mumbai to make her place in the haute couture world. this show reminds of movie "Devil Wears Prada" , quite consciously creators tried to add a pinch of Meryl Streep's Miranda Lambert in every character of Meera s office. Follow her on the journey of excitement , dreams , denials and rise. Some physical comic scenes are cliche. It is a must watch for people in fashion.
