Lord Rama had heard of Sita from Vishwamitra who described her as the pure woman and the daughter of mother earth. In his love for Sita, Lord Rama went to chase after a majestic deer which turned out to be an evil trick. However, upon his return, Lord Ram finds Sita missing from their abode. Thus begins his quest where he stumbles upon the devot

Rama and Laxman become an integral part of Sugreev and Vali’s story which is driven by karma. Later, Sugreev lends his support to Rama, Laxman and Hanuman in their journey. While in captivity, Sita also depicts the importance of good karma. Following the footsteps, Hanuman is sent to Lanka to meet with Sita and to fulfil his karma, he even gets himself captured.
    • Deceit and deception become a major guiding force throughout the story of Ramyug. Though the wrongdoers get punished, deceit makes even the greatest of people succumb to it. In one of the many deceits, the evil Ravana makes space in people’s mind as well as their land and uses the tools of deceptions to penetrate the lands of India. Saint Agastya warns Lord Rama about Ravana’s habits and Rama assures him that he will stop the evil. Apart from this, the story also unveils the deceit of Ravana
    • It is dharma that guides one to their goals. Following the dharma, Hanuman burns the lands of Lanka and returns with a memoir for Lord Rama. He gives Rama the bracelet of Sita which reminds him of his wife even more. As part of his dharma, Lord Rama gathers an army and strategises a way to reach Lanka and rescue Sita. On the other hand, Ravana uses his dharma to torture Sita, but being on the side of righteousness Sita trumps him. Ravana’s wife, Mandodri expresses his disappointment in him.
    • A man is said to be as good as the word they keep. It is this word, promise/ vachan that all characters of Ramayana had to follow. It is because of the vachan, Lord Rama gave his Guru Vishwamitra, which led him through the path of righteousness by eradicating evil. It first started when as a student, Rama killed Tadaka and Subahu to fulfil the vow of protecting his Guru. Later, the same vachan of eliminating evil is put in effect when Lord Rama kills the evil Ravana. A promise given to Kakeiyi
    • Conflict is a common thing for all human life. Lord Rama and Sita also serve their fair share of sangharsh as they start their exile of 14 years in a jungle. As they leave Ayodhya, the people of the kingdom follow them and Kevat joins Rama as his loyal. Ram’s exile does not just begin his sangharsh, but also the sangharsh of King Dashrath owing to the curse given to him by Shravan Kumar’s parents to breathe his last without the sight of his son.
    • There are no winners in a battle and loss of life and property are the only conspicuous. The battle begins in Lanka and both Rama and Lakshman fall prey to Meghnad. Though Sita prays for their recovery, Lakshman’s condition deteriorates. Lord Hanuman steps up to bring the Sanjeevani mountain that will help Lakshman recover. The battle gets fierce and Raavana loses sons and brothers consecutively.
