Whoever claims the "One Piece" will be named the new King of the Pirates. Monkey D. Luffy, a boy who consumed a "Devil Fruit," decides to follow in the footsteps of his idol, the pirate Shanks, and find the One Piece. It helps, of course, that his body has the properties of rubber and that he's surrounded by a bevy of skilled fighters and thieves to help him along the way. Luffy will do anything to get the One Piece and become King of the Pirates!

03 Mar '01The featurette sees the Straw Hats arriving on Mirrorball Island, which has a huge disco ball hovering over it. Unknown to them, Jango is also in the town at a local bar. However he is spotted by a group of Marines and a chase ensues. In the midst of the chase one of the Marines spots Luffy, forcing him and his crew to run for it as well. 06 Mar '04The short film pits the Luffy Pirates against the Fishmen Pirates in a game of baseball, with Buggy and Mr. 2 Bon Kurei serving as announcers. Luffy begins the game as the lead-off batter, with Arlong pitching against him. Because small iron spiked balls are used instead of normal baseballs, Luffy, who was facing the wrong way when the ball was pitched (he was fighting with Chew), was painfully hit in the butt and was awarded first base.
