Gangs of Wasseypur, movie based on the Coal mafia of Dhanbad,particularly focusing on the rivalry between two communities of muslims,the Quereshis and the Khans and spreads over 3 generations from the pre-independence times to the modern India.The Quentin Tarantino style of Anurag Kashyap brings the well scripted and executed masterpiece filled with entertainment in every scene and detail.
The storytelling which gives us precisely each and every short detail of the characters and the situations and throughout the movie the there is no question left unanswered (except the ending,which will lead on from the sequal).The complex and wide-cast plot is arranged in perfect patterns and each one of the scene as well as the actors give their mind-blowing performances and entertainment.The elements of violence,gore,profanity,sexuality and revenge are all the pillars of the movie's strong uphold.Shahid Khan played by Jaideep Ahlawat,who had impressed us with his skills in movie 'Commando' playing an antagonist,has performed short but flawless piece of his skill as first generation of one family,whose murder gives rise to the Don of Wasseypur Manoj Bajpayee As Sardar Khan,who is son of Shahid Khan and lives to take revenge of his father's murder and keens to destroy Minister Ramadhir Singh played by the director Tigmanshu Dhulia who earlier directed movies like Sahib,Biwi aur Gangster,Haasil and Paan Singh Tomar.Gangs of Wasseypur was the acting debut of Dhulia as well as some other actors like Riccha Chaddha,Huma Quereshi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui,Although Nawazuddin has been seen doing some small time roles earlier but this is precisely his major break.
The whole cast seems to be born-for-this-movie because it fits so perfectly and gives out the best of their skills.Manoj Bajpai has once again proved that he is the powerhouse of acting.Other supporting cast like Richa Chaddha,Huma Qureshi Reemma Sen has done a brilliant performance as the 'Womaniyas' of the movie.Now talking of the wild card of the movie Nawazuddin Siddique who has came out with flying colours as a chainsmoker and drugist son of Sardar Khan and will be carrying his legacy in the next movie,so expectations from him are kept pretty much high.
The 5 hour 20 minutes movie has been divided into two parts and the first movie ends on a very tantalising situation which creates an eagerness in the audience to watch the second part of the movie as soon as possible.But for the first part-brilliant script,brilliant performances makes the saga a must must watch masterpiece.

Started watching this movie only because of the actor Shawn Ashmore,who has performed an outstanding role in the X-Men franchisee as Bobby aka The Ice Man.An another American school children's adventure who goes skiing at Mt.Holliston but are stranded in a chairlift at heights of 100s of feets.
The movie stars Kevin Zegers , Emma Bell and Shawn Ashmore and is written and directed by Adam Green who earlier directed the comedy-horror Hatched trilogy.The movie starts with not-so-great mood and slowly but steadily moves forwards and explains how three teenagers got stranded in a stucked chairlift by the misunderstandings of the management employs of the mountain.Director Adam Green has really done a great effort to turn a very simple script into a survival/thriller movie where some scenes gives us chills by their gruesomeness.The plot is very much predictable,its only the performances of the three actors which binds us with the movie.
The scenes are shown very much realistic but if horror element is to be searched,there isn't any in the whole movie which can really give you goosebumps.The survival strategies and the emotional enrollement althrough the movie seems to be very close to the show 'I should'nt be Alive' on Discovery Channel.So well,thats a thumbs up to atleast one time watch this movie and praise the acting of all three actors.

The only words in which the movie can be described - Extraordinary Amazing. Who would have imagined that one day We will see all our favourite superheroes together fighting the evil forces.Joss Whedon has done clearly a Brilliant job in bringing such an amazing cast together like Robert Downey Jr.,Chris Evans , Mark Ruffalo , Chris Hemsworth,Scarlett Johannson ,Jeremy Renner and Our old Pulp Fiction guy Samuel L. Jackson.
The commendable work of MARVEL of years of planning for inter-relating all the franchisies like Iron Man,Thor,Captain America and The Hulk into one and then giving them screenspace equally in one movie not even rustically but in detailed version (which however makes the audience a bit doozy in a Superhero movie),has made a mark in the history to create a widespread audience in the world.
The cast does a great job of bringing these iconic characters to life, beginning with Robert Downey Jr. Downey plays Stark almost effortlessly, delivering his lines with relative ease allowing his charisma, charm and smugness to shine through; Robert Downey Jr. IS Tony Stark! Chris Evans' solidifies himself in the role of Captain America. He was very good in his solo film, but truly owns the role standing alongside Iron Man and Thor. Chris Hemsworth's Asgardian god Thor has some incredible battle scenes and indirectly provides one of the film's most funny moments. After being seriously underutilized in Iron Man 2, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow is provided a back-story, which helps in developing the character and provides an opportunity to prove she is much more than just a pretty face; she's as dangerous psychologically as she is physically.The character I was most concerned about being given little story and the least amount of screen time was Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye; happily, he's not left by the wayside and does a more than admirable job of developing the character.Ruffalo looks more the part of the nerdy scientist Banner and plays the part without looking angry in every scene. In The Avengers, the Hulk is at his most impressive.Jackson's Nick Fury is finally more than just the guy making surprise appearances. Fury is finally able to stretch his legs some, and Jackson slides quite easily into the role.And not to forget everyone's favourite Tom Hiddleston Reprising his role as Loki as the antagonist of the movie whose charming and dynamic personality makes everyone grooves over the villian.
A perfect Cast,a thorough storyline,a Brilliant director and almost everything to entertain audience in the movie whether its the amazing sci fi visual effects,the humour punchlines or the Bang-Bang action stunts..the movie provides it on a platter.So its a must watch for all the superhero buffs and all the MARVEL fans out there.
