To anyone randomly wandering here; this is just a list of my favorites regardless of the actual class of every given movie. May or may not (mostly not) include whole franchises. The order of the list consists factors like how I like the movie: overall, script, consept (idea/message and their relevancy), performance (individual/collective), visual style & effects, music & sound - or how likely I am to watch that movie again. The order still may be confusing as to many The Dark Knight is highly superior to Nausicaa. For me Nausicaa holds the top spot for not just being better overall, but especially for having a more relevant message, an outstanding performance by Nausicaa's voice actress (Sumi Shimamoto), top notch animation visuals (despite being an old movie) - aaaaand for me being much more likely to rewatch it over The Dark Knight. So to anyone wondering why a "better" movie is lower than it should, remember that it's just my biased opinion of how the order should be.
