While Poonam is leading a blissful married life with Abhimanyu, Rohit's life is spiralling out of control as he engages in meaningless relationships to fill the void. Ananya has completely immersed herself in her work and is disconnected from her 3-year-old son Kabir.

Ananya seeks Harry's help to divorce Rohit. A chance encounter with a girl who has an uncanny resemblance to Ananya at a fundraiser leaves Rohit stunned. Ananya is forced to make a trip to India due to a business crisis involving Bani.

Ananya manages to tackle the issue at hand by assuring the client of personal supervision on the project. Rohit’s mother visits Kabir and insists that Ananya come home on her return.

Ananya is shaken up after she runs into Rohit and is further reminded of her past with him when she overhears Bani’s conversation with a mystery man at home. Later, she invites the extended family over to celebrate Raksha Bandhan and Nicky’s homecoming, but Poonam is nervous about meeting Ananya after the infamous night.

Ananya does not wish to face Rohit again. Rohit receives flak for arriving unannounced and ruining the event. Meanwhile, Nicky breaks down and announces that she is getting married. Ananya finally confronts Rohit, and Rohit blames her for ruining his life.

Ananya quits the project and vows to return the advance amount. However, she realises that the money from the account from which she wanted to repay the advance has been withdrawn and accuses Rohit for this. Ananya demands a divorce but Rohit refuses. To pull herself out of the messy situation, Ananya seeks Harry’s help. Meanwhile, Bani shares a piece of shocking information with her.

Ananya learns that Bani has had an abortion, and she withdrew the money from the joint account. Ananya also learns about the identity of the mystery man. Meanwhile, Rohit visits Bani, and Ananya apologises for earlier behaviour. However, Rohit’s taunt brings back memories from Ananya’s childhood.

Ananya starts actively interacting with Kabir. Rohit rejects Ananya’s mutual divorce plea. In turn, she files a case against him on various charges. Poonam agrees to help Ananya but on a condition and Rohit visits Poonam to question her about her decision.

Bani tells Rohit about Harry who is helping Ananya to repay the huge amount. Ananya thinks it's time for her to move on and give Harry a chance. Meanwhile, Amaira secretly helps Rohit with the money which he returns to Harry and makes it clear that he will not divorce Ananya. Amidst all this, Harry proposes to Ananya. What will her answer be?

Preparations to welcome Nicky’s in-laws are on in full-swing, and Poonam requests Rohit to be a part of it. Everyone is surprised to see Rohit at the family gathering and Ananya too sheds her discomfort about attending the function. Rohit breaks down when he meets his son for the first time. Rohit questions Ananya on why they can't be a family.
