It Happened in Hong Kong : Season 1

Aahana is a strong, independent woman who is on a trip to the glittering harbour city of Hong Kong. She has recently broken up with her fiancé. While exploring the city on her solo trip, she pens down her experiences in Hong Kong with regards to culture, people, food, etc. One day she bumps into a fellow traveller, Amol, who is visiting Hong Kong for work and they decide to have coffee together. While talking about their lives, Aahana tells Amol that she is on a solo trip to rediscover herself.

Aahana and Amol arrive at the beautiful Big Buddha where they seek blessings and enjoying the scenic view. Amol notices how Aahana is glued to her diary, making her little notes. So he takes it away and tells her to breathe in each moment rather than pen it down. They’re both start getting to know each other a little more with every experience. At the art work gallery, Aahana realises that Amol has misplaced her diary, and in the most discreet manner, Amol manages to retrieve it back while

Amol surprises Aahana with a romantic candle-light dinner for her birthday. As they open about their past relationship, Amol reveals he has read Aahana's diary. What fate has in store for them?

The eventful night was followed by some surprising news the next morning. Amol reveals he is already engaged and Aahana felt betrayed and led on. They part ways from this trip and each other on a rather unfriendly note. A year later, both accidently meet in an office they have visited for their respective work and decide to spend some time after Aahana’s meeting. Walking down the roads of Bandra, they catch up on what has changed since their trip to Hong Kong.
