Ghaat, a popular place for performing last rites has lost one of the most important pandits, Shashwat Joshi, who commanded the most opportune place on the center of the Ghaat, making him the unofficial leader of the entire Ghaat, and now, that place has become vacant. This creates an opportunity for the other pandits on the Ghaat to make their claim on the place.
