Gang Stars is a satire that pushes comedy into dark and surreal places. The 12 episode Telugu drama series created by B.V. Nandini Reddy revolves around two movie stars, two ex-lovers, and one gangster. Jagapathi Babu slips into the role of a rowdy gangster named Krishna Das who suddenly discovers that his life is going to end soon owing to a terminal disease. The plot advances and one incident results in a chain of events that sets into motion and interconnects the lives of all these characters.
