I think Man of Steel had too much of philosophy from a super hero movie perspective.
But yes Pacific Rim was surely full of cliche and cheesy dialogues along with action and some under-the-box concept [ pun intended].

Maybe it's only me but it was too much of a Power Ranger for me. If you really wanna spend in spl effects why not spend it on normal sized people instead of going for Godzilla warfare..!!
