CHiPs : Season 4

Two guys are stealing office equipment and furniture. Go-carts are terrorizing the streets. When a go-cart swerves in front of a van, it dives into a lake and immediately sinks to the bottom.

Jon and Ponch try to help their fellow officer Andy, who is deadly sick. Andy want's to die as hero during duty and often does silly, dangerous things. Jon and Ponch are sent by the Sarge to have a look on Andy. Andy's son is very sad and disappointed that he finds no way to talk serieoulsy with his dad. A bad accident makes Andy's life an end but he can die as hero. All in all a very sad episode with a bit hope at the end.

Jon and Ponch help a farmer and his sisters who have several near-fatal accidents that look like sabotage; guest Robert Ginty. Both learn a lot about healthy food.

Jon and Ponch are chasing poachers and gets help by Indians.

Ponch organises a celebrity bicycle relay race as a fundraiser, while he and Jon try to track down a criminal duo using a motorbike and sidecar in robberies.

A boulder causes some problems for Jon and Ponch, while the fundraiser gets underway.

Bonnie is kidnapped by a gang of bikers, so Jon and Ponch are sent to find her.

A repeat drunken driver's slick lawyer frustrates Jon and Ponch. He looses his wife by have a crash on his own fault.

A car thief moves into the robbery business, while Ponch has some problems to sort out with his bank account.

The patrol have their dragster ripped off by a gang of thieves looking for spare parts.

A new system is put in use to send back up faster to help officers that are down and injured. The officers are sent out to test it and learn that the new system has a lot of traps for them. Grossie causes a red alert only by cuddeling a little dog and Bear is arrested in a ship after a chase.

Arsonists start burning down mobile homes, causing chaos for Jon and Ponch.

A supposedly quiet day of scuba-diving finds Ponch and Jon face-to-face with a ring of drug smugglers and sharks.

Ponch is assigned to train a female motorcycle officer, but a mishap with her uniform causes a misunderstanding with Ponch's girlfriend.

Melanie and Paula, the new officers trained by Ponch and Jon, catch a group of thieves operating around a marina.

Jon and Ponch are chasing motorcycle and car thieves. They can't catch them as they're protected by Andy Macedon, an old enemy from Ponch. Bear is hit by Andy's protegé, only drawing his weapon saves his life. Finaly there is a big fight between Andy and Ponch but Andy does not fight fair.

Martin Beck and his dead brothers wife tries to kill Jon and Ponch.' This man attacks Jon with his van and Jon get's injured. He hides several bombs in Ponchs car, his motorbike and at least in an empty car on a field. The new guy TC is always a step before the other CHP officers, so he has problems to get fellows there. TC safes Jon and Ponchs life more than once.

Lyle Pickett a Vietnam Verteran threats Pete, Barry's Dad, who has a flying school. When Pete get hurt with his back, Barry has to help his mum. But he's also an officer and has to do his work, too. On duty he sleeps and has nearly a crash with Turner, so he decides to quit the Highway Patrol and to take over his fathers firm. Lyle threats all who use a remedy against insects on their fields. Ponch finds on a destroyed field a campsite receipt. When he follows up, he meets up with Shawna,

When Getraer and his family are harassed by a mysterious vandal, Ponch and Jon step in to find out who is behind it all.

A psychiatrist joining the Accident Investigation Team fears that she may have been responsible for a serious accident. The CHP detectives recreate a puzzling high-speed accident.

A hitman thinks that Getraer saw his attack and plans to eliminate Getraer as well.
