.   Kevin Harrington, chairman and founder of TVGoods Inc. and co-founder of OmniReliant Holdings, Inc., is a pioneer in the infomercial industry. Harrington has financed more than 500 direct TV marketing product launches with sales totaling over $4 billion. 20 of those products reached individual sales of over $100 million. Harrington’s first company, Quantum International, merged into National Media in 1991 and grew to $500 million in annual sales with distribution in over 100 countries. Quantum became a case study in business that was taught at Harvard and MIT. Additional entrepreneurial ventures include HSN Direct with the Home Shopping Network and Reliant International, as well as two global networking associations, the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) and the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA). In 2009, Harrington became an investor ("shark") on the ABC show, Shark Tank, in which entrepreneurs pitch their ideas in hopes of securing investment financing from a panel of business experts. The show is produced by Mark Burnett and is based on the British show, Dragons' Den.
