Christy Johnson
Christy Johnson is an up-and-coming triple threat in the film, stage, and music industries. She has been submerged in the arts since she was signed to Marilyn's Model and Talent Agency at six months old and started off in print modeling and pageants. She went on to acquire the title of Miss Greensboro. She landed her first leading role in community theatre in sixth grade and soon fell in love with musical theatre, which she studied through high school and college before earning her MA and BA from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. The UNCG Alumni Association honored her with the Young Alumni Award for her accomplishments in the industry. She has performed in several professional musical theatre productions, though her current acting concentration is focused on film, television, commercials and music videos. Her experience as a vocalist goes back to the age of two, when she had memorized all of the commercial jingles on television and would sing along. She began choral training in fifth grade and was a member of her school's top auditioned ensemble/show choir in eighth grade. Later, she sang with the Gold Madrigals at Grimsley High School, and performed at Carnegie Hall, as well as two international tours in Europe. A notable solo performance was when she sang for the Mayor of Greensboro at the 75th Anniversary celebration of the Carolina Theatre, entitled "Thrill of The Showplace".
