Born in Louisiana, Danor Gerald was raised in Fitler, a rural Mississippi River Delta town near Rolling Fork, MS. After attending school in Texas, he was awarded diving and acting scholarships at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas. Within 2 years he returned to Dallas and his professional career began in regional equity theaters. Critically acclaimed performances in "To Kill a Mockingbird" (1997), "The Sound and the Fury"(1996) and "The Gingerbread Lady"(1995) made him a sought after performer, and audience favorite in the robust Dallas Theater scene. Danor's first major appearance on Television came in "Sheena" (2000) a short-lived fantasy series shot in Florida on the Walt Disney World property. He appeared in 2 episodes before the series was canceled. Gerald's first appearance in a feature film, "Believe" (2005), came while he was earning a Digital Cinema degree in Utah. Danor began getting leading roles with "The Cyclist" (2012) produced by prolific Casting Director Jeff Johnson. "Saints and Soldiers: The Void" (2014) is Mr. Gerald's star-turn as the protagonist in a feature film.
