Francis Thomas Sullivan, aka Frank Sully, was born on June 17, 1908 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. He was an actor, known for The Grapes of Wrath (1940), The More the Merrier (1943) and Bye Bye Birdie (1963). He died on December 17, 1975 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA. Beefy, square-jawed American character actor, usually cast as rustic types or dumb heavies. Also a regular feature in Three Stooges shorts. Sully started his career as a comedian in vaudeville and appeared on Broadway from the late 1920s.
