Dheepan (2015)

In all the hullabaloo surrounding CA, one may have overlooked many other fantastic films releasing alongside. One of the bests is Dheepan, the film that won Palme d'Or, 2015 Cannes. This film is about an immigrant who used to be a Tamil Tiger in Sri Lanka. The film is directed by Jacques Audiard (The Prophet) and is currently at 90% RT Score. Another film that one should add in their watch list is A Bigger Splash, which is going at a strong 89% RT score and has a consensus that says, "Absorbing, visually arresting, and powerfully acted by an immensely talented cast".
