The way she portrays the pain and strength of a young girl stuck in tough situations, in Udta Punjab , was incredible. She was immensely praised for her brave act. Releasing later this year was डियर ज़िन्दगी . Here, she assessed the character of a girl stuck between the troubles of her love life and her career. She was flawless in this film. Alia had also been in a small role in Kapoor and Sons. Looking at the way she’s progressing, Alia is definitely going to be one of the greatest actresses of our country!

Like Alia, Shah Rukh too had two big releases this year, Fan and डियर ज़िन्दगी . Though Fan was a very good movie, it didn’t work at the box office. But no credit was taken away from SRK. His performance in Fan was phenomenal. This was his best performance since My Name Is Khan . The audience were completely in an awe after seeing his brilliant acting in the double roles.
