While the first season takes us on a nostalgic trip of our teenage days of finding your love and topping exams through the eyes of Rajat, the second season seems like it will deal with issues of heartbreak and sadness.
The first season was a cute take on teenage relationships and high-school crushes, in this case a tution-class crush. The decision to use 90's music is an addition to it's charm taking viewers on a nostalgia-fuelled trip with each episode named after a nostalgic bollywood song, from Udit Narayan's
Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar hit Pehla Nasha to the 1973
Yaadon Ki Baaraat hit Meri Soni Meri Tamanna. Also not to forget the classic songs throughout the entire show. So what does the second season have for us?
The lead actors Ritvik Sahore, Tanya Maniktala are back as Rajat and Ishita. Joining them are the regulars, Pandey and Anusha, played by Shivam Kakar and Sunakshi Grover. Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish is also back as everyone's favourite Chemistry teacher Kaushal sir and fans are definitely expecting more chemistry puns this season!
Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the new development that takes place in Rajat and Ishita's relationship and we're definitely going to see this season discussing more about our first teenage heartbreak and sadness so maybe some nostalgic sad songs from the 90's and some new memorable names of chapters?
Season 2 is arriving on 18th October with all episodes releasing on
TVFPlay and
MX Player. So kids it's time to open your notebooks again and put the date 18/10/19 on top because the new term is about to start.
