1. Jafar Panahi's Taxi: Shooting a film while being banned

In 2010, the director Jafar Panahi was arrested subsequently banned from film making on the charges of sedition and propaganda against the Iranian government.
But his is not those types who stops and his film Taxi takes the cake, no pun intended, for his audacious attempts of making 3 films ( one of them was smuggled in a cake) against the Iranian government's censorship stand. Efforts made or not, cinema lives to see another day in the country thanks to men like him.
Hoping film maker continue breaking shackles, bringing in new trends and keep cinema up to date with current themes in 2016 too.
