RGV Talkies- The RGV Way Of Responding To The Censor Board.
The king of controversies, Ram Gopal Verma recently announced that he will be launching an online theatre called RGV Talkies via his twitter page.
According to him, RGV Talkies will release erotic, crime, horror etc genres hence things that are dark, gritty or shocking. He also announced that he will never release Romantic or Sex comedies as he takes love and sex seriously.
He has also said that they won't feature items related to sports or god as he doesn't like sports and doesn't believe in God.
He also added that RGV Talkies won't just feature movies made by him. If he likes a film made by anyone, then he will feature it as well.
From what he has said till now, this does sound a lot promising. He has even said that he will dedicate the first short to the censor board. We just hope we get some new fresh items on our tables from RGV.
Below is the first poster of 'Single X', the first short film under RGV Talkies, about which RGV has said that even Dawood Ibrahim would love it.
