Bollywood actor Salman Khan found himself in the center of a new controversy, while promoting his movie Sultan . During the media interactions, Salman was quoted that after training for the film's wrestling scenes, he felt like a raped woman. Moreover, in an interview published by an entertainment portal, Salman was quoted that after lifting a 120 kg guy, weightlifting and training for his role, he could not talk and this made him feel like a raped woman. Following the insensitive comments, twitter users expressed their outrage, over Khan's callous comparison to a rape victim. Reportedly, Salmaan did try to take his words back in the interview, where he said that he should not have made these comments. Seems like Salman has forgotten the line " think before you speak ''. Whatsay!

Actor Naseeruddin Shah who is known for speaking his mind has irked late Rajesh Khanna's fans. The veteran actor blamed Khanna for introducing mediocrity in Hindi films, in 1970's. In an interview with a leading daily, Naseeruddin Shah said "it was the 70's when mediocrity came in Hindi films. That's when the actor called Rajesh Khanna joined the film industry. For all his success. I think Mr. Khanna was a very limited actor. In fact, he was a poor actor.'' To this Rajesh Khanna's elder daughter Twinkle Khanna hit out at Mr. Shah and tweeted ''Sir, if you can't respect the living, respect the dead. Mediocrity is attacking a man who can't respond." Well, even we don't think that the actor like Rajesh Khanna who gave films like Aradhana, Haathi Mere Saathi and Anand should be blamed like this. Is not it?

When Priyanka Chopra was seen on the cover of Maxim India magazine , June-July's issue, which touted her as the hottest woman in the world, which also showed off her flawless figure, featuring her in a black cutout see-through dress. Undoubtedly in that magazine she nailed the look, with hotness. But, after publication, trolls started lambasting PC and the magazine, for photoshopping her armpits. After which the actress took to social media, to end the conversation and put up a 'no filter' picture of her underarms. The stunner tweeted with image of herself with arms raised overhead, captioning it '' Heres another picture to add to the debate.#WillTheRealArmpitPleaseStandup #nofilter #armpitdiaries" . Well, the loved actress just swayed in on the debate herself, by uploading her unphotoshopped pits. So, lets just say how flawless they are!

So, when it comes to Ranbir Kapoor, everyone steps back and takes notice! Something went wrong that the wedding bells between Katrina and Ranbir did not ring and Deepika Padukone became an object of speculation behind this split. Well, according to some sources, Ranbir was noticed getting close to ex-girlfriend Deepika, during the promotions of their movie Tamasha , which irked Katrina and that became a widely speculated reason for Ranbir and Katrina's breakup. However, this news was totally rubbished when Deepika was seen happy and content with her beau Ranveer Singh, uploading pictures of their holidays. It was also confirmed that Ranbir's parents played a very important role behind his breakup. Oops! We are really sorry for doubting Deepika and owe her apologies!

Life went out of control for Mr.Perfectionist when he received harsh criticisms from all quarters of the country, for his intolerance comment. However, Aamir Khan's comments were manipulated by the media and were shown in the wrong light, because of which he bore the brunt of a mistake, he did not even commit! Later when Aamir was asked about the flak he received from his fans, he made it clear saying, what he said was doctored in a way, which deviated its meaning and gave a wrong impression about him to people. Furthur, he added saying, that he never planned to leave the country (which was actual reason that sparked controversy) and he is a proud citizen of India. He also added that he is born here, and so, will die here only. These strong statements left his detractors in shame and washed stains of doubt, which were inside people's head!

Veteran actor Om Puri found himself in a quagmire, when in heated argument on a national channel, he made a shameful comment over the death of BSF Jawaan . He was slammed by big names from politics and film fraternity and was also vilified in the press. Even after he apologised on social media, he was continuously targeted and panned in one of the most renowned news channels of the country. He almost broke down while interacting with journalist and apologised again. He bore the repercussions of the situation for a very long time, which also made him leave his residence temporarily for a month.

On 14 October 2016, when decision was taken not to screen any film where Pakistani artists are connected, by Nitin Datar, President of Cinema Owners And Exhibitors Association Of India. Two days later from that day, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap took to twitter and demanded an apology from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for having visited Pakistan on December 2015, to meet Pakistan's PM Nawaz Sharif. He equated the incident to shooting of Karan Johar's film, saying that Karan Johar was shooting with Pakistani actor Fawad Khan during same period of time. After facing criticisms for questioning Prime Minister, he took to a second wave on twitter, tweeting that he has a right to question PM, which took to furthur backlash by people. He also made a reference to MNS party saying, that the party has become irrelevant and is trying to gain importance using film industry. By making such statements, Anurag Kashyap landed himself in troubled waters and became victim of controversy!

When Salman Khan's appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador for Indian Olympic Association came into light, the scenario got pitted as Bollywood against Indian sports. Yogeshwar Dutt and Milkha Singh slammed over this decision, making their point, that not a Bollywood actor, but a sportsperson should be appointed for this post. While Bollywood stars including Hema Malini and Paresh Rawal backed the superstar's appointment, following which, the actor's father himself said, that it was a privilege given to Salman, because after watching his movies, people got to know that Salman is very much inclined towards sports and it is his popularity that gave him a chance to serve Indian Olympic Association. Later Salma's appointment as a goodwill ambassador got cancelled, but the controversy regarding this subject, created a massive hullabaloo in the media.

When new member was added in Nawab and Kapoor's family, whole Bollywood showered blessings and prosperity to the "Saifeena" couple. But this merry-making hit controversial chord, when Tarek Fatah raised objection over the moniker of Kareena and Saif Ali Khan's son. Tarek took to twitter and tweeted " how could a couple name their child as someone who committed genocide and killed many Hindus In India." Tarek's tweet was supported by many Hindu groups, but also received huge flak from Bollywood's bigwigs including Karan Johar, who said that nobody has a right to peep into privacy of someone's life and nobody can question parents, on naming their child. Soon the matter came to rest as Christmas and New Year approached, but the controversy left many wondering!

Actor-director Ajay Devgn was involved in a fracas with producer-director Karan Johar regarding his ambitious film release शिवाय. The main reason that was believed for this war was, the same releasing date of Johar's film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay's movie, which caused an uneasy situation. Later, Ajay got upset with Karan, as it was alleged that Johar was responsible for spreading negative things about शिवाय on social media. Later, this news was rubbished and Ajay was quoted saying that his fight was never with Karan, his fight was against a self-proclaimed critic, Kamal R Khan, who said has received money from Johar, for doing negative promotions of Ajay's film. No legal actions were taken against the culprit, but the controversy still remains a mystery!
