They fight racism for equality. The depiction of the bond between Celie and Sophia, another black woman is beautiful. What are friendships for other than to fight together for a better tomorrow?

Gabita is pregnant and wants to get aborted. But abortion is illegal in Romania. She seeks the help of her roommate Otilia. They book a room at one of the hotels and pursues help from Mr. Bebe, a shady doctor. However, things turn out to be disgusting when Bebe tells he would help only if both of them sleeps with him. The girls have to rely on mutual support, if they have to get over. An intense movie made on female friendships, misogyny, and struggle of women, this is an apt movie for a girl’s movie night.

What are girls movie night about? Well, mine have been about some intense discussions, lighter gossips and catching up with the updates of friends. Movie , Popcorn, and home-made Maggie become a good addition to it. So, next movie night with your fellow girls do try watching these and have a great time.
