Watching a star’s movie first day first show in a single screen is an experience that rivals being in the stadium for an Indian cricket match. The people just get crazy and you get caught along in the flow.

By virtue of being small single screens, less ads are shown before the movie and that’s always a good thing. Not like some multiplexes where the movie will only start 15 minutes after the show timings.

Indians have always been value shoppers. Most single screens offer pretty good services and chances are that they are cheaper than your nearest multiplex.
